[001] Video
[Bryn had circled the perimeter of the immense Keep twice before finally opening up her journal. It was still strange to communicate with others this way, but she couldn't deny its convenience, especially when there was something pressing to share with the others.
Carefully, she pressed her fingers to a blank page and began to speak. She looks disturbed and uncertain, to say the least.]
This sounds like a strange question, I realize but...has anyone who's been outside seen the sun at all?
[They were in another world, but surely this place had a sun, didn't it?]
Based on the direction my shadow is going, I can guess at where it should be...but there's nothing in the sky.

Comment Log!
She had wings. A woman with wings.
Sorry Isabella, she's staring.]
H-hello!
[Bryn smiles hesitantly and lifts a hand to wave.]
comment log
Isabella raises a hand and waves tentatively back. A smile graces her features.]
Hello! Perhaps you were the person inquiring about the sunshine?
comment log
How did she miss this woman at the dinner? It boggles her mind.]
Yes, I was. My name is Bryn....
[She reaches out, offering her hand to the other woman.]
comment log
My name is Isabella, Lady Bryn.
[ It's clear those are real wings, for they move with her and counter balance when she stands back to attention. There's even a little twinge of pain on Isabella's face for a scant moment as she jostled the bad wing wrong. ]
Perhaps we can figure out this mystery together?
comment log
Her eyes couldn't get any wider, so instead, her jaw drops and Bryn pulls her hand and pulls it to her chest.]
That...that really isn't necessary. I'm not a Lady. I'm not titled or anything I'm just a girl--
[Bryn notices the pain on Isabella's face however, and stops short.]
Are you alright?
comment log
I am sorry-
[Her response was short circuited by Bryn's concern. She flashes Bryn a nervous smile and gestures to the wing that drags on the ground.]
It has been giving me small amounts of trouble lately. I happened to rise too quickly and jarred it.
comment log
Please don't apologize, I was just...I'm no one to bow to or Lady or anything like that.
[Her eyes catch on the wings again, and Bryn makes herself take a deep breath before responding.]
I see...perhaps the doctor could fix it for you? She's very nice...
comment log
I understand, Bryn.
[Then green eyes brightened when Bryn mentioned the dear doctor.]
Lady Sycora? Oh! She is very kind! She helped me acquire this dress!
[She pulls the sides of the brown dress out.It worked wonders on Isabella's sense of being, just to no longer be walking around in her nightgown. ]
As for myself though, this injury is old. There is little that can be done now. I do not doubt Lady Sycora's ability in the slightest just...
[The grin is a little crooked now and she shrugs. It was long ago.]
They have been this way since I was little.
comment log
They're from home, after all.]
I'm sorry to hear that, though I'm glad to hear someone else speak well of the good doctor. She was kind enough to answer my questions and it's distressing to hear so many people act so suspiciously of the staff here...
[Yes, she's relieved to have found an ally on this point.]
comment log
Of the staff I have had the pleasure of meeting, I can say it was indeed a pleasure! So many kind people seem to be employed here!
[Her brows furrow a little, forming worry creases as she thinks about what she is to say next.]
I also understand how people are reacting to what the Lord of the keep has said. The declaration itself is so very odd. Since the Lord is not visible, I believe the staff takes the fall.
[She did indeed, just admit that she does not take things at face value and questions what Lord Dieor has written.]
