[Bryn had circled the perimeter of the immense Keep twice before finally opening up her journal. It was still strange to communicate with others this way, but she couldn't deny its convenience, especially when there was something pressing to share with the others.

Carefully, she pressed her fingers to a blank page and began to speak. She looks disturbed and uncertain, to say the least.]

This sounds like a strange question, I realize but...has anyone who's been outside seen the sun at all?

[They were in another world, but surely this place had a sun, didn't it?]

Based on the direction my shadow is going, I can guess at where it should be...but there's nothing in the sky.

Not that I could see. I've been looking and looking but well, it's not exactly something you can miss...

[Now she pauses.]

The fish would be less alarming, I have to say.

[Bryn chokes for a moment.]

[Dos chuckles, voice a low amused growl.]

I was waiting for one of you meatheads to notice.

[That is quite the laugh, Dos. Bryn's ears catch the growl instantly. It's what he says that fully grabs her attention, however.]

Do you mean that this is normal? Where did it go?

Yeah, it's always been like that. As far as I know anyway. Light still works the same though, so after a while you don't even notice.

How odd...

But, yes, of course I'll be alright if it's safe for there to be no sun...

[That's such an strange thing to say. Usually most people worry about the sun blowing up or consuming the Earth. It's rare anyone worries at its absence.]

Does this mean the moon gone as well?

[There is a beat of silence as Alex's face appears in the journal. His expression is a mixture of confusion .. possibly concern.]

But that's .. Is ..

[He tries that again, brows knitting together tightly. His voice is a bit more direct when he speaks again.]

Is the moon gone, too?

[Oh my goodness. Whoever that is on her journal, they are beautiful.

She looks at him a bit oddly, a bit wistfully, but not so much that she doesn't her what he says.]

I...I don't know. I haven't seen it. I won't know until tonight but...sometimes the moon is a new moon so it wouldn't show anyway. Perhaps someone of the staff would know...

[Alex would be suitably flattered if not for the pressing concern/interest in OMFG IS THE MOON GONE?! He worries at his lower lip, brows knitted close as his thoughts race. He stumbles over his words next, clearly uptight, although he is doing his best to keep from taking it out on Bryn. :(]

I.. Yeah, that would pretty much make it all clear, wouldn't it? Wait and see if it comes up ..[He sighs softly and it looks like he's looking at something that is not his journal for a moment. His iPhone has the moon phases loaded onto it for the next several years. Knowing the next full moon is technically five days away? Oh boy ..]

Umm .. thank you ..?

[He trails off awkwardly, not even having any idea of this girl's name..]

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Bryn. And, as soon as I find out about the moon I'll be sure to let you know, if you like.

[It's a small offering. Bryn's somewhat calmed by the fact that she isn't the only one disturbed by the lack of sun and moon in orbit.]

[Isabella had been outside- but she had taken for granted that the sun was in the sky when the daylight was so pronounced. Now that Byrn has pointed this out, she has to investigate.]

That is extremely peculiar. Perhaps it has been hidden?

[Isabella's first thoughts were of an Illusion. Either an illusion of daylight or one to hide the sun. Being that she studied heavily in illusions and the properties of hiding objects from view- this was almost a situation right up her alley!

But who would want to hide the sun?]

But how would you hide an entire sun? It doesn't make any sense. This shouldn't be possible. There's light but no source?

[This breaks countless laws of science, she's sure. Of...mass or light properties or something.]

I've never seen anything like this.

[There should be lots of laws about this. Hiding the sun would require a large amount of power. She was pretty sure only deities had the juice to cast a mass illusion of this kind. Even if it was incomplete- and hide the sun, but not the sunlight. ]

You would almost need to be a god or a goddess or, near enough to being one anyways, I am thinking. I have not seen anyone able to do a mass illusion like this before, on such a scale. But it could be possible.

[ You can not hear or see her thinking face. She has now walked outside and is staring at the place the sun should be. ]

I'm not blind. A staff member just confirmed it.

[Though, she's wondering if something's wrong with her vision because that is a giant talking robot looking at her.]

[This doesn't make sense. There has to be an explanation. She's willing to believe reasons given but without any it continues to hover in the realm of impossibility.]

I suppose it must be sunlight still. I hadn't thought about it for a long time. I don't think that I would have remembered if you had not said anything. It does not effect anybody much.
