[Bryn had circled the perimeter of the immense Keep twice before finally opening up her journal. It was still strange to communicate with others this way, but she couldn't deny its convenience, especially when there was something pressing to share with the others.

Carefully, she pressed her fingers to a blank page and began to speak. She looks disturbed and uncertain, to say the least.]

This sounds like a strange question, I realize but...has anyone who's been outside seen the sun at all?

[They were in another world, but surely this place had a sun, didn't it?]

Based on the direction my shadow is going, I can guess at where it should be...but there's nothing in the sky.

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Bryn. And, as soon as I find out about the moon I'll be sure to let you know, if you like.

[It's a small offering. Bryn's somewhat calmed by the fact that she isn't the only one disturbed by the lack of sun and moon in orbit.]

[Alex is completely flustered over the whole missing sun and possibly moon thing. He has no idea what this might or might not mean for him.

He'd already noticed a change in how quickly he could shift his form from one phase of his lycanthropy to another. Would he still shift in five days time or would that be impeded by being here in this strange place? Would any of it work the same way?

His smile is a bit tight, but it's a smile all the same that he offers at her introduction.]

It's alright .. hardly need to apologize for it. I'm Alex .. I .. I would appreciate if you would .. If you don't mind, of course. No need to put yourself out or anything ..

[Alex is usually far more together than this, but now he's just plain frazzled.]

[Bryn switches to video so that Alex can see her face when she offers him a smile. It's encouraging, and as reassuring as she can manage, like how she would smile at her brother.]

It's nice to meet you Alex, and it's no trouble. When I find out more I'll be sure to let you know.

[It's not as if they have so much more to do. Bryn's started cooking lessons but that's not something she has to do.]

[Alex blinks as her face suddenly appears, but then he smiles warmly. She was rather lovely looking and the smile certainly seemed to be as good a sign as he could hope for.]

I appreciate that, Bryn .. It's a bit .. disconcerting to think that this place doesn't have either .. The sooner I know, the better.
